Those 30 cats I wrote about before were finally moved out from that woman's flat. Some even found new permanent homes. And while there is still no word from relatives, woman's neighbors are taking over her care.

This started back when I was first knew that Alisa is ill and was looking into what good vets we have close to my home. That's when I found that there is an animal protection organization in Omsk. It is a group of volunteers, as official animal policy seems to be that bullets (or euthanasia) are cheaper than building animal shelter. So helping ( Read more... )

Cutting it a bit close, but I really didn't expect how hard it would be. Not only finding 5+5 photos, but there was also a side problem I've managed to forget about. I never ever picked up my photo camera without taking a picture or two of Alisa. So I have some in all of my photo folders.

Damn. Alisa is a lot worse. She was fine yesterday, when I took her to vet for check up - I didn't like how the scar where her teat was removed looked. He told me that it seemed all right if a bit big and to watch it. He also told me to come over on Wednesday. With my cat still recovering from her operation from over a week ago, I have failed in my plans to take a lot of new photos for this one challenge. So, I'm sorry, but it was taken over by cats in general and Alisa who got full three photos.

I took her yesterday to check up how she is healing and it he can take stitches out. Turns out no, it is still too early, we are going to wait until Tuesday earliest.
